Charles and I were just 2 people who weren’t suppossed to fall in love… but really… he was engaged to a former friend of mine and after her infidelity and manipulation we met via facebook. He IM’d me out of nowhere and all it took was one simple question: “How long have you been a believer?” I was nervous to meet him as this was my first military relationship and I had never met the guy in person but on May 28 he drove 6 hours to meet me and my parents. We haven’t had to deal with a deployment yet, thankfully, but I know that we soon will. On April 6 this year we got engaged on the beach of San Fransisco, and though our wedding seems super far away, it works for us because of our lifestyles as he’s in the military and I’m a college student/missionary.
